Community

Mostyn works with a range of community groups, youth groups, general public and schools to help them get involved with contemporary art and Mostyn itself. If you are interested in involving your community or youth group the following opportunities are available:

Gallery visits

Groups and classes can visit Mostyn independently or take advantage of free introductory talks and guided tours.

Artist’s talks

Mostyn talks bring together experts and scholars to present new inter-disciplinary research or to discuss aspects of a particular exhibition around visual culture.

Family sessions

These sessions will be held in an informal and fun way for you and your young toddler/s to get creative! We will provide a variety of activities that will enhance your child’s artistic development and understanding of different resources.

Summer art camp

A week long summer art camp for children aged 7-10 and 11-14 to further their enthusiasm in art and work on producing their own exhibition in the gallery!

Performance art camp

A 5 day summer camp for young adults aged 15-18 to further their skills in performance resulting in a show family and friends can attend in the gallery!

Master classes

Mostyn hold a number of art classes for adults and young people during the evenings and weekends.
