MOSTYN 2006

The celebrated Mostyn Open presents the widest range of exciting new developments in the visual arts from the United Kingdom and internationally. The exhibition is an opportunity to see work from artists recently emerged from colleges through to more established figures. Selection from over five hundred submissions creates an exhibition which provides a varied and stimulating snapshot of the current concerns of artists working today. This year’s selectors are Sean Kissane of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, Bethan Huws, Artist and Anders Pleass of Oriel Mostyn Gallery. The award of £6,000 was made by the selectors at the exhibition’s opening, to Sam Dargan.
